The first Artist Project Pack Night event of 2017 is in the bags, and what a “sweet” success it was!
Taking place at Los Globos in West Hollywood, CA, headliners Natalie La Rose and Chanel West Coast led the incredible slew of performances we had. Thanks to DJ Kittie, the club was rocking all night long. With drinks pouring and bodies shaking, our first Pack Night certainly set the tone for the rest to follow.
The first performer of the evening was Detroit’s own Jay Vinchi, who has since relocated to California to take his career to the next level. But Jay happens to travel ‘back and forth’ quite a bit, which is actually the title of his new hit single that most definitely left an impact on the Pack Night crowd. His vibrant personality and passionate lyrics made his performance a pleasure to watch; he set the bar high for the performers to follow.
Next up was a close friend to the Swisher Sweets family, Ponce De’Leioun, who once again gave us an amazing performance. Ponce brought that same energy to the Hollywood streets as he did down at our Austin Takeover event back in March, as the ladies gravitated towards him the moment he hit the stage. Leaving his mark on the Los Globos stage, it’s safe to say Ponce stood out amongst most during his set. We can’t wait to see what else 2017 has in store for our 2016 class member.
Def Jam signee DaniLeigh was the next performer for the evening and boy, what a treat we were given. The gorgeous hitmaker is also a talented dancer and her set was filled with step after step leaving us dying for more. Keeping our eyes and ears peeled from start to finish, Dani’s potential is through the roof and we’re thankful she was a main part of our L.A. Pack Night.
Now for our headliners, Natalie La Rose and Chanel West Coast. Chanel, who was also the event host for the evening, brought her brand new single “Nobody” to the stage and had the crowd in a frenzy. Her outgoing TV personality transitions perfectly to the music stage, making her the superstar entertainer she is. Chanel was also honored with the Spark Award that same weekend for her contributions to the Swisher brand.
To close out the show was the one and only Natalie La Rose. Most know her from her smash hit single “Somebody” featuring Jeremih, but to think that’s all she’s got is ludicrous. This successful pop star, byway of the Netherlands, was the star of the night as she performed hit after hit for an excited crowd. Her presence was highly anticipated from the moment the doors opened at Los Globos.
With a jam-packed schedule to close out 2017, the Swisher Sweets Artist Project Pack Night events are off to a great start! Check out some photos below from our Los Angeles stop and stay tuned for our next announcement coming soon.
